My passion for home baking developed early when, as a little girl, I would help my mum in the kitchen – there's nothing better than being able to eat your own creations! Later I worked in the Wild Food Café in the Argyll countryside during the school holidays where I was given the freedom to experiment and to develop my baking skills; my passion soon grew into an obsession, which has never left me!
After working for 10 years in the food manufacturing industry – developing recipes and packaging for UK supermarkets and being involved in food hygiene and quality control – The Tea Jenny At Your Service was born. What better match to delicious home baking than a nice cup of tea served on fabulous china surrounded by even better company to celebrate a special occasion?
I hold an Elementary REHIS Food Hygiene Certificate and the Tea Jenny At Your Service kitchen is registered with Glasgow City Council Environmental Health Department.
